Lauren Carpenter, LMHC
Lauren is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of Atlas Therapy Collective, providing attachment-based therapy for children and teens (ages 0-18), parents, and families in the Fort Wayne area. She brings over 10 years of experience working with youth and families across a variety of community and clinical settings in both Fort Wayne and Chicago.
Lauren works from an attachment-based and developmentally informed lens, helping families strengthen connection, build secure relationships, and support emotional and relational health. Lauren has a particular passion for supporting infants, young children, and first-time parents through the early stages of bonding, regulation, and development. Recognizing the growing need for infant and early childhood mental health services, Lauren has dedicated her career to advanced training and education in order to provide high-quality, compassionate care for families during these critical years.
Areas of Experience:
Childhood & Development: Early childhood mental health, ADHD, school issues, slow processing disorder, and developmental regulation.
Teen Challenges: Social anxiety, peer conflict, bipolar disorder, and suicidal ideations.
Parenting & Family: Postpartum/pregnancy issues, sibling conflict, co-parenting, and family transitions.
Education/Training:
Lauren earned her Masters of Science in Education in Counselor Education from Purdue University Fort Wayne. She is currently completing specialized training in infant mental health and will receive her IECMH-E (Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health – Endorsement) credential in 2026.
